ATCO EPIC (Employees Participating in Communities)
During our 2011 ATCO EPIC campaign, ATCO Pipelines and its employees committed over $314,900 which will be directed to charitable organizations throughout Alberta in 2012.
ATCO EPIC is a unique, employee-led fundraising initiative where employees donate to the charity of their choice and their donations are then matched by the company. This gives employees the benefit of making an impact on the communities where they live and work. Hundreds of charitable organizations in ATCO Pipelines' service area have benefited from this program.
Across the entire ATCO Group of Companies, ATCO and its employees pledged a combined total of $3.4 million in 2011 to more than 500 charitable organizations through this program.
ATCO also makes charitable donations annually on behalf of individual employees who volunteer in the community. The annual ATCO EPIC Time to Give program recognizes employees who contribute a minimum of 50 hours in a one year period.
